The main purpose of the position will be to  organize and supervise the activities associated with the unit processes of Thickening of concentrate, Wastewater Treatment, Filtering, Shipping, Reverse Osmosis Plant and Seawater Impulse System, to guarantee compliance with the Safety, Production-Quality and Environment goals, established by the Superintendency.

• Manage and control risks to people and facilities during the execution of the plans and processes of your unit .
• Supervise and execute the necessary actions to comply with the production plans under safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Coordinar con Supervisor Mantenimiento de mantenimiento la entrega/recepción de equipos de acuerdo a planes de mantención, bloqueos, estándares de operación y producción, de modo de asegurar el cumplimiento de plan matriz y productivo.
• Optimizar variables críticas del proceso con el fin de cumplir metas diarias en seguridad, producción, calidad y medio ambiente.
• Supervisar proceso de embarque, asegurando plan de carguío, tasa de embarque y calidad del producto, sin riesgos a las personas ni al medioambiente.
• Coordinar actividades operativas con áreas Planta, Metalurgia, Planificación y Proyecto.
• Gestión de costos y optimización de recursos de su área de gestión.
• Promover, ejercer y liderar el mejoramiento continuo mediante aporte de ideas que apunten a elevar el estándar de seguridad, productividad y medioambiente.

1. Title Engineering Chemical, Metallurgical Execution or equivalent specialties.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in Mineral Processing Plant Operations.
3. Knowledge of thickening, filtration, mineral concentration and metallurgy.
4. Management of ERP / PI System.
5. Knowledge of Distributed Control System Operation, DCS.
