The main purpose of the position will be to unite the geological world with the needs of the process to obtain the best result for the mining business, through the modeling of critical variables, which define the different units present in the deposit from the point of view of their metallurgical behavior.

• Manage and control the correct identification and management of risks, in the execution of the plans and processes of your unit.
• Develop geometallurgical prediction models.
• Coordinate with the Metallurgy area and supervise the development of geometallurgical tests.
• Support the planning area in geometallurgical issues and monitor and reconcile the production results of the plant, based on the geological information of the minerals fed.
• Administrar la Base Datos integral con información de las pruebas geometalúrgicas.
• Participar activamente en el desarrollo del programa de sondajes con fines geometalúrgicos, para lograr muestras representativas de los procesos.
• Contribuir al desarrollo de los proyectos internos y externos desde el punto de vista geometalúrgico, ya sea revisando planes o seleccionando muestras para programas metalúrgicos.
• Asegurar cumplimiento de las exigencias ambientales y de los controles críticos de riesgos claves de seguridad, salud, ambiental y comunitarios de su proceso y recomendar mejorías a los procedimientos.

• Título Geólogo(a).
• Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en Geometalurgia.
• Experiencia en procesamiento de minerales.
• Conocimiento en administración de contratos
• Knowledge of statistical tools ( Iogas, leapfrog , Statistica, etc.) and modeling software ( Vulcan ).
• Turn 4x3.
