The Chilean Safety Association is looking for a Nursing Technician.
ACHS is a private, non-profit mutual, administrator of the Social Security against Risks of Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases contemplated in Law 16.744. It strives daily to promote healthy and safe jobs in its 54,314 associated companies, providing services of excellence in risk prevention, curative and rehabilitative medicine and economic benefits to 2,391,345 workers belonging to all the productive sectors of the country, through a vast network of preventive and health centers.
The Chilean Safety Association is in search of a Nursing Technician whose main responsibility will be to ensure the assistance of the surgical team, during the perioperative period of patients undergoing surgical intervention, guaranteeing safe and quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and provide equipment, instruments, supplies and surgical elements according to scheduled surgeries.
- Assist arsenalera in the preparation of the pavilion and assembly of material.
-Keep control and record material and supplies used in surgery.
- Assist in the procedures required by the nurse.
- Collaborate in the development of the surgery, assisting the surgical team.
- You must collaborate in the disassembly of the surgery.
- Replace supplies used in surgeries at the end of the day, maintaining a defined stock of supplies in carts.
- Carry out procedures and activities based on quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Higher level nursing technician title
- ideally 1 to 2 years of experience in the position. They can be considered recently graduated professionals (but who have experience from clinical practices in ward services)
Schedule:
Monday to Saturday: 08:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (work by rotating shift system in the morning and afternoons)
